Today I’m going to be writing about a program called LabTweets that I’ve recently tested out. It’s a program for Twitter that’s been developed by my good friend Akhil (visit his Twitter profile here). So, what is LabTweets? Well, it’s a program that is ideal for anyone who wants to market their website or blog via Twitter. Let me explain further…
Features
- Friends – You can easily control who you follow, and also make sure you follow people whose tweets will be interesting to you. You can do this by searching a specific term, and then automatically following a certain amount of people who have tweeted about it at the click of a button (for instance, I followed 30 people who had posted about the Thesis Wordpress theme instantly).
As well as this, you can also follow other people’s followers. This is a great way of Twitter marketing that Michael
Dunlop talks about in his e-course. Basically, you pick someone popular in your niche (for me it was problogger – click image to enlarge) and follow loads of their followers. They will then hopefully look at your profile and visit your website. This is an awesome method, and since doing it (only around 5 hours before writing this), I’ve already had about double the Twitter traffic I usually do. It should also be noted that my follower count has raised by about 200 in a day using this method.
- Other things – The main plus to LabTweets is the way you can follow people with absolute ease, but there are also loads of other great features that this program have, one of which is the ability to do auto tweets. To do this, you just enter your tweet and say how often you want it to be posted, and it will all be done automatically. This will save loads of time and hassle in the long run.
As well as this, you can also follow people who follow you and unfollow people who unfollow you at the click of a button. You can use an unlimited amount of accounts on the program, so you can wave goodbye to the hassle of signing in and out of different accounts just to do maintenance.
You can also send DM (direct messages) to people who follow you. This means they get a message which you can fill with whatever you want (although I recommend saying ‘hi’ and giving them some details about your site) as soon as they follow you – a great marketing tool.
My view…
I seriously can’t recommend this product enough. I just wish that I’d bought it sooner, as it just makes Twitter marketing so much easier. I have no doubt that my Twitter traffic (and follower count) will keep on increasing as I use the program more and more.

LabTweets costs just $47. Whilst this may sound a lot, the amount it will earn you in sales and future traffic is worth at least double that. Infact, I would go as far as saying this software was priceless. The price is gonna change real soon. So get your hands on it while you can.

Hmm… Kind of interesting tools, but it seems to me, efficiency is great but the effectiveness of the results don’t really create a big buzz for traffic. It’s a great tool but it takes time even though is one click, and Twitter had a limit for following too much people.
I think the limit is 1000 per day. Now, lets say 500 look at your profile and click your link, there’s 500 UVs right there. The potential when using a product like this is incredible.
Yes, it takes time to click (about a millisecond), but to follow 1000 people individually would take hours.
Haven’t tried it yet,
but must say Its one of the best tools for Marketing by Akhil !!

As you guys well know, there’s no shortage of Twitter tools out there. Read Mashable for his Top 15 Twitter tools and you’ll see collectively they do some of the thing LabTweets (LT) does. To me, LT is the Swiss Army knife for Twitter marketing and I’ve only been using < 24 hours.Would welcome more detailed documentation, but in the meanwhile, I will whip up a Camtasia video, post it on my Blog and YT, Viddler, Meta Cafe et al, so my readers can get a jump on this killer app before Akhil raises the rent.
