After blogging for years, I’ve found that you stop learning lessons from just the conventional blogging professional, and start learning them in places you never thought you would. You learn lessons from television, friends, books, interior decorating pieces…
Did you know that, as a blogger, you share a lot in common with the common decorative rug? Sounds kind of insane, but you’d be surprised how much bloggers and rugs see eye-to-eye, or rather, tassel-to-tassel. If you doubt my logic, then feel free to consider these five reasons that bloggers are like rugs.
1) You Find Pieces of Them Everywhere
Bloggers have social media accounts everywhere, be it twitter, stumbleupon, digg, entrecard, what have you. You can find bloggers allover the place, much like the clippings that roll off a new rug and are insanely hard to vacumn.
2) They Are the Center of the Room
I don’t know about you, but my friends are always amazed when I talk about blogging. Bloggers are hot right now, and if you’re famous, then people will gather around you. In the same way, rugs tend to be placed
in the center of the room, and can turn a boring room into an amazingly decorated abode.
3) There’s One for Every Room
There are tons of different blogs out there, with tons of different bloggers. You’ve got health bloggers, meta bloggers, social media bloggers, celebrity bloggers, etc. In the same way, there are hundreds of different rugs out there, and they all cater to a different style. There’s always a rug, or blogger, to meet your personality.
4) They’re Not All Squares
Rugs come in all different shapes and sizes. Some are square, some are circular, some are ovals, some are rectangles. Some have tassels, and some don’t. The same thing goes for bloggers. While some of us may be
squares, or rectanlges, or tassled, some of us are circular and meant to be placed under trees, next to sinks, or in the middle of the floor. No two bloggers are exactly alike!
5) The More Effort Put Into Them, The More Valuable They Are
This relates more to the actual blog itself, but the more effort put into the blog, the more its worth. You can easily pick up a $3 bathroom rug from Wal-Mart, but if you want hand-woven Oriental greatness, you’ll have to shove out a few thousand dollars. The same goes with bloggers. Some of them are of the generic ‘tips’ variety, while others are of the hand-woven, in depth and extremely valuable variety. And, in general, it is those that last longer.
Whether you think you share something in common with your floor decor or not, bloggers have a lot in common with a lot of things. With a little imagination, you can learn life lessons and universal truths from something as common as a throw pillow, a cup of coffee, or yes, even your floor rug.

I believe bloggers are round. and it could be mandatory to be ‘all-round-person’. a friend friend of mine, a rather popular blogger in my country, told me that he has been asked to speak at different occasions, which is only about his blog but also about family life, social life, education.
so, be it on various social media or elsewhere, bloggers have eggs.
