I keep getting requests about writing design related blog posts. Well, today, I decided to share not how web sites should be designed but how they should NEVER be designed! I have compiled a list of the 11 most appalling web site designs ever. Here it goes:
A – Perfect Trash: A great tutorial of what your website should never ever look like.
B – The Undefined X: If you tell me what the site is about I will never ever have a hair cut ever ever again.
C – Ski Utahopia: I am never going to ski in Utah.
D – Republicans: No wonder the Republicans lost the elections.
E – Water On Wheels: What an awful waste of water, I hope the wildlife enthusiasts file a case against the owners of the site.
F – Doves Of War: These doves will start World War III.
G – Light For All To See: I can see the light only if I squint.
H – Car Heaven: Cars were never born to look like this.
I – Effects Of Global Warming: Global warming and it’s toll, a not so beautiful World.
J – NEWS: It is absolutely 100% correct that no News is good news.
K – Wonderland: Wonderland looks awful without Alice.
At first I wanted to show screen shots of the web sites along with the URLs but, I decided I didn’t want my blog to look ugly. I hope you folks agree! By the way no offense to the designers, I hope these designers whoever they might be keep up the good work! How else would I get a chance to post something like this!

Oh dear!!! I’ve seen a couple recently that could be added to this list… it is amazing how many people build their own sites, that end up looking like these, and they’re proud of them!!

Sometimes you need to consider what the site is about. “Wonderland” is a perfect example of this. Look again and think 3D graphical software…still bad, or perhaps PERFECT.

Dennis, Wonderland is a 3D graphics site – agreed… It’s there as itt’s stuffed with 3D graphics hence, the name: Wonderland.

David thanks! I normally keep a spreed sheet for about 3 months and copied the urls into it every time I came across one. Orignally the name of the post was dreaded designs. David don’t forget to vote!

Whew! Thank goodness my site designs doesn’t need to be re-design. Ohh, you’ve got quite a lot of bad design site collections here. But, on the other hand, your information is useful and very entertaining, in the sense that I saw lots of worst design sites ever! Thanks.
