I’m Simon , a teenager from the UK, and this is my blog, Teenius.com. On this blog I’ll write loads of tips and tricks related to making money online and all the different little parts of it. I try my very hardest to try and cover as many topics as possible in an easy to understand manner, so that you can get the information you want quickly and easily.
I have been asked a few times why I ventured in to this niche when it was as overcrowded as it was, so let me tell you. Basically, not only do I love making money online, but I also like to think I know what I’m talking about, and hopefully that will reflect in my writing and you’ll find it helpful. I feel that there is still a lot of room for new ‘make money online’ related blogs, and hopefully there’s room for this blog, too.
A little about me
Well, as I’ve already said, I’m Simon Rogers from the UK. I’m currently in my teens and I’m just getting ready to start college, where I’ll study Law, Business, Computing and one other subject, but I haven’t decided yet.
I’m a very sporty guy (and always have been). I used to be a very active swimmer, but now I focus on indoor football (or soccer to the Americans!) and kitelandboarding. For those that don’t know, kite landboarding essentially consists of standing on an off-road skateboard (a landboard) and using a huge kite to pull you along and in to the air, where you can perform tricks and stunts. The sport gives you a great feeling, especially when you do a really big jump, but unfortunately it isn’t very well known at the moment. Still, there’s always time for it to grow!
My MMO journey so far
I started making money online a while back, probably around two years ago, but I can’t remember exactly. It all started when I was looking for some money for the summer and a friend told me to start some proxies. Within a few weeks I was running a proxy network containing over ten sites, and I was earning a few dollars per day from Adsense. Whilst that sounds like a great figure for a newbie, I knew I could get more, so I started searching around internet forums for different ways to advertise them and increase my earnings. From sheer luck (and clicking the wrong link on one of the forums), I stumbled across blogging. I instantly knew that blogging was for me, so I started doing a bit more research.
In the start I didn’t really enjoy blogging so I was just adding some content and selling them on (making around $50-100 each blog), so I was really happy with that. I then started commentating on a few blogs and I was asked to be an author on one of the blogs I visited. I really enjoyed participating in that, so when one of the other authors said I should start my own blog I didn’t need much more encouragement! Thus, Teenius was born.
